Last month I went back to Arkansas to take my nephew Ethan’s senior portraits. I have watched him grow-up since he was an infant. While taking his senior pictures, I saw glimpses of that little kid I knew and the man he has become. Here are just a few of my favorite photos from his senior session.

In July, I photographed Josh and Megan’s wedding here in Knoxville. This was the first time that I had ever been hired to photograph a Jewish wedding. Not only was it a was beautiful ceremony, but it was treat to experience the different customs. Plus, Josh and Megan were an awesome couple and made me feel right at home.

Nine years ago today, I was running around trying to finish up all of the little details (including getting my haircut in the church bathroom) before professing my love for Erika to God and all.

In honor of that, I thought I’d share a few pictures from our first anniversary.

This is a couple we met staying in our hotel at Myrtle Beach. I can remember their names, but I do remember that they were also from Knoxville. They were such an inspiration for us seeing how much they were in love after all of their years together.

Ellen’s Bridal Portraits | Historic Bleak House | Knoxville TN

Now that Ryan has seen Ellen walk down the isle in her wedding dress, I can share some of her bridal portraits from back in June! Ellen chose her wedding venue, the Historic Bleak House, for her bridal session. The Bleak House offered a variety of different locations with different styles work with. I have to say that Ellen was awesome. She did whatever I asked. It didn’t matter if it was a hard 30′s look or a modern portrait, she rocked them all. Here are a few of my favorites.

Leslie and Jake – Kentucky Wedding

Last month, I helped my buddy Joe Howell photograph Leslie and Jake’s wedding in Danville, Kentucky. Leslie and Jake’s wedding was awesome. Everyone had great personalities, the weather (which looked gloomy in the morning) ended up being terrific, and I got to work with my best friend. Joe and I go way back to when he was a staff photographer at the News-Sentinel. In fact, I even shot my first wedding with him back in the film days! Here are just a few of my favorite wedding pictures.

Happy Anniversary Bethany & Jordan

One year ago today, Bethany and Jordan were celebrating their wedding at Whitestone Inn, in Kingston, Tn. It seems just like yesterday that I was hanging out with Bethany and her girls before going to dodge paintballs while photographing Jordan and his groomsmen. It was a great day and I wish you many more through the years to come!

The past week has been full of birthdays! First we had a Little Einsteins party for Silas turning 4. Then one of my favorite holidays – Fourth of July! Finally, Ty turned one year old, but not before deciding to start walking.
