Last night I had the pleasure of photographing Jenny Moshak, the Associate Director of Sports Medicine at UT, speaking to a group inside the skybox at Neyland Stadium. For those of you that don’t know of Moshak, she has been been working with the Lady Vols for 24 seasons and is a legend within the sports medicine and athletic training world. I’ve seen her on the sidelines of countless Lady Vols basketball games, but this was the first time to ever hear her speak. She had funny stories about biking across the country in 27 days. Yes, I said riding a bicycle across the country (2900 miles) in 27 days! She also gave some great insight to her book Ice ‘n’ Go, and how the business of youth sports is physically breaking down our children. I can’t wait to read my copy.
